well well well, been so long since i last updated.

PRCP is over, and i've passed.

and yes, i have graduated from nursing.

it seems like i just stepped into NP nursing yest and it has alr been 3 years

time really flies. and yes, i'm gonna be a staff nurse in abt another 3 weeks' time.

i have gotten the license, and seriously it is making me rethink again

i dunno if i have chosen the right career path.

i am still trying to find out what the hell i want to do with my life.

i know i wanted to be a nurse, but now i seriously dunno.

i guess i am in the denial stage.

maybe i will just work for a year, see whether it suits me or hell it doesnt.

i miss going to sch,

going for lectures, and especially practical lessons.

i miss my year 3 the most, even though it was very stressful

i had the most lovable classmates, and the best practical teacher.

i wish i could back those times.

memories, i hope they never fade.

i seriously do not know why i feel as though my life is a total mess. I lost my mum when i was just 14. I have seen my relatives passing away but it didnt hit me that hard compared to my mum's. I literally felt as though my life has just been taken away from me. i guess it's all just too late when you realize ur mistakes,
when you realize that you have taken her for granted,
when you realize that when you ask for forgiveness, you do not know if she forgave you,
when you realize that she's no longer there to care for you, to love you,
when you realize that she's not there to scold or nag at you,
when you realize that He has taken her away to a far far place,
where you can no longer see her, talk to her, to know if she forgave you, to tell her i'm sorry, i love you. IT IS JUST TOO LATE.

I am seriously numb with pain. I used to cut my wrists just to feel the pain.
it gave more pain to my loved ones than to me, i stopped.
I have cried till there's no more tears, also no help.
the feeling is just there.
and it hurts me even more when i came to know that my sisters were scared that i would join bad company after my mum's death.
they constantly encouraged me to participate in activities, always make sure i am around with who. i know it is concern, but dont you think it will hurt the toher party thinking you have no trust in her?
well, that happened to me. i felt as though they didnt trust me, they always have this feeling that i will become bad. but i guess i have proved them otherwise.
but i dunno if the thought still lingers in their mind. and i guess i dont wish to know either.

I really really feel tired. trying to please everyone even though it totally irks me, doing something that i dont like. im gonna be 19, for god damn sake, treat me like an adult, people.
dont make decisions for me. it's my life, i am the one living it. not you, get it.

and only one assignment has been done, which was a major relief.

god, my column for the work experience is gonna be empty,

have been going down to geylang polyclinic to collect data for FYP
down for tml also. it's a sat, for goodness sake.
i dont mind, but the thing is other groups will also be there
which i dont really prefer.

one week of sch has passed.
and well, nthg much has changed,
except the fact that i still cant bring myself to start studying.
and yes, being yr3, ppl would think that i'd be more responsible, more matured, and of course more concerned abt my future.
but all i can think is just to enjoy myself with my friends for this remaining 6 months.
i dunno if we'd still keep in touch, once everyone has started their own career, few months down the road.
and the thought that it's be hopsital, and not a sch that i'd be facing from next year onwards, gets on to my nerve.
i cant stop thinking abt the ending of sch life, but yet i want it to end
want it to end because of the endless projects, assignments, shitty timetable
but i dont ever want it to end because of my friends, and my class too.
i wonder if we'd still be keeping in touch.

anyways, i still cant accept the fact that i'm year3
i'm a senior.
btw Farah introduced me to this Annoying Orange on youtube.
it's so hilarious but yet annoying.

personally i dont really like bedok,
i think it's far too complicated for a direction-idiot girl like me.
but there's so many shops there, that i dont mind going

food shops, clothes, printing photo shops.
its just so accessible, unlike mine, where i have to walk all the way to tiong.
but i'm not complaining.

and its been the most slackiest ward ever.
posted to kent ridge wing, a super high class ward,
and seriously there's not much things to do just ur basic.

even the patients are like so high class.

and well, i've managed to pass my yr2 and move on to yr3.
its as though a burden has been taken off

well, instead of studying, here i am back again

it is the last pp, but i feel as though my pp are all over.

if only.. i still got to wait until 4.30 till i can officially say it.

i just cant bring myself to study.

i have written the notes, i have got to memorise

and nursing care plan just puts me off from picking up the notes to study.

i guess i can never control this stupid temper of mine.
but waht if i was not the one in the wrong, getting irritated with me for no particular reason.
just because i dont agree with what you are saying or just because i am saying things that are against what you are saying, well then i'm sorry.

and well, only one more week of sch before study week.
and yes, it is the semestral exams, which will indicate whether i can move on 3rd year
hmmm, NR presentation is finally over. and well, my pract test in on coming Tuesday.
haven started studying yet. each procedure has more than 20 requisites to rmber.
and i am so scared i will get Ms Marine again, and on top of that chest tube.
god, i guess i will just ask her to fail me.
but everyone seems to be getting chest tube and blood transfusion.
i wouldnt mind if i got blood trasnfusion, but the thing is that one has alot of checking and alot of documentation
if you forget one, that's it. there goes ur mark.

and yes. i have taken another decision.
i've decided to work in either NUH or IMH for atleast three years before i go overseas
i guess i am certain about that.

i was never able to be myself again after my mum passed away.
i thgt myself to be the pnly hurting over the incident, but as days went by, i got a bit better and knew everyone was feeling the same way.

after i read her assignment, gosh, i must have really caused her a hard time.
i knew that i wasnt close to her as much as i was close to my big sis back then.
we'd gang up on her and bully, but my mum always supported her. so she had the backbone.
but after her passing on, my second sis had really no one to lean back on. she had to start from scratch to build a closer relationship with me. she had to be a mum, a sister, and a friend.
as she wrote in hers, i was going thru a rebellious age at that time, i used to get irritated with my dad alot, and i still do. she used to e the one talking to me and then to my father. but it didn treally work for me. but when i really started growing up, i also realized my dad must be having a hard time trying to make the ends meet, constant worrying abt his 3daughters, and constant worrying on how people would talk if we didnt grow up properly.
but then i guess second one had to go through alot the most. but i am glad i became closer to her. though i make her irritated lots and lots of time, i know she still loves me alot. and she wont give up hopes on me.

just for her and my family, i've decided no matter how i feel, i am going to finish my nursing diploma first. the rest i would think when i have graduated. but thats my main priority for now.
but the only thing i am scared is i will let everyone down.

so, it was a pretty eventful Saturday for me.

as usual, mornig had pharm. and as usual, leave the class early because couldnt take it

but from next week onwards, we've promised to stay till the end.

went for brunch with Farah and Sharon. it is like the second time only the three of us going out for makan :)

then evening met Sharon at tiong to go bedok with Parames and Amalina,

for Farah's birthday celebration at ECP. most people didnt turn up.

but dont worry. we did have fun without them.

i'm not saying it in any manner but just saying.

well, celebrated Farah's 19th Birthday on Friday,

though her b'dae fell on saturday.

then went out with two new companions: Sharvena and Idayu

It was nice hanging out with them, especially Sharvena.

She's simply adorable.

and i hope Farah likes the balloon and the Bugs Bunny bought by me and Parames

btw she's having her b'dae party at ECP next Sat. permission given by dad to go =D

went with Stella to ECP yest to support Wenqi's stall

bought a necklace and ear-stud.

went back home feeling dead tired, due to the lack of sleep.

and well, sunday.

nthg much to do. just to write the script for the presentation.

think must talk train, with only 15mins and 30slides to present.

god, please.

and on a happier note, there's no NS1 tutorial for the whole of this week and next Monday.

hahaha, i finish sch earlier.

so far things have bene going great, be it sch or home

though i think really alot and get moody super fast,

i'm thankful for the bunch of friends Allah has given me.

i guess w/o them, i'd be sulking my whole life.

Friends have become more of my second family,

spending almost a full day with them, talking to them,

sharing everythg under the sun,

gossiping abt ppl that we co-incidentally dont like,

laughing for nthg, giggling for nthg, making fun of each other.

it's so fast Tuesday!
oh my god! another bomb: only like 5 more weeks for end of sem exams!!
my goodness. must start studying, but with the projects draining both my time and my energy
i am so gonna go bonkers soon.
think must spend again for that stupid NR again. my goodness
like what myat su, i am gonna work in the ward as staff nurse, why must i learn nurisng research, something that has no link or whatsoever to practical.
god, i serioulsy hate NR.what with proposal, consent forn, questionnaire, blah blah blah
i dunno what to do.
thank god, other project presentation has been done, well except for NS2
that one week15, but must start soon, cause the prgress report due week14
and to top that, every sat got to go back for Pharm from 9-1pm
and if Kylie confirms, NS1 from 2-7pm.
might as well, make saturday a schooling day. left with only sunday as the rest day
damn, and there i was happily thinking no retest.
all my bubbles shattered, the moment i heard josephine say retest on 30th jan.
and friday has been confirmed. oh my god. haha cant wait, actually
might be going for hady mirza showcase to waste time until6, i guess.
not confirmed, but got the tix for hady from Lina alr.
and sat is Farah's birthday.
god, i turned 18 like just 2 months ago, and people alr started turning 19 alr.
but the thing i get to enjoy my 18 a bit longer. but i guess it doesnt make any difference right
she's also 18 for like a year alr. so yarr, not much of a big difference
i feel like a zombie. from sch back to home. and the routine continues until fri. but from this week onwards, the routine starts on mon and ends on sat. seriously machiam no life like that

it's a saturday and i had to go back to sch for PROJECTSwhat made it even more worse was it was still OPEN HOUSE
god, sigh. never knew year2 would be this unbearable
and i got no mood to start studying. so far, i've only taken the first step,
which is to stop going to akka's hse on weekends.
cause, when i go there, it's basically a 'honeymoon' period
no books, no projects done, no assignments, and i will not have the mood to study there
when there's prince and princess to look after.
well, first week of sch has passed, and i can pretty much say it's been a bitch!
projects, datelines, assignments.
sch has become more of a second home, spening my whole day in sch and only coming back home to sleep. serious. that has been the routine for the past three days due to NR poster
and yes, thank god, we've put up the poster alr. and man, it looks good

there were also so many other nice posters in the BCLS lab. but my group was the satnding out cause got decoration. hahaha :)

we went bankrupt, buying those stuff for the poster plus the deco

man, i so prefer doing presentation slides to doing posters.

this day marks the fourth year of my mum's anniversary.

time really flies.

it has been four years, and i wonder if i have ever come to terms with it yet.

i guess not. it's a wound that would never heal, no matter waht happens.

and yes, i think i found everythg in a hard way.

i guess i realize everythg when it is always too late.

i can never go back in time, change what has happened

as they say, no use crying over split milk.

i just have to accept my life as it is.

oh my god! i like finally found what's screwed up with this blogger thing. and i realise the problem lies with me and not the blogger template. hahaha. how dumb can i be? seriously.
for the first time, i enjoyed cardio. can u believe it? i enjoyed it! oh god. i guess because i was posted to cardio ward in NUH and i really got to see live heart patients. i shld say people shld really start taking care of their life. even healthy people are getting heart disorders. i told my staff nurse, 'i'm starting to like cardio in practical terms, but theory wise, still a big no!' and she was laughing. she's a fresh graduate from NP. and ya so i guess she knows. hahahaha :)
i enjoyed my new year's eve even though i was in afternoon shift. i went to oli's countdown show with my sis, meenu and my sis' guy. he got the tix for us. for once, my new year's countdown wasnt spent at home. i wish every year would be like that. every year get tickets for some countdown show. hahaha
anyways, term2 has started. and i am feeling so tired/dead!
i have never felt like this even when i went for attachment.
i always have preferred practical to theory.
almost half the projects dateline is this week friday.
god, and everythg is left like it was before hols started. i wish i could speed up the time, just for the projects only. but time spending with friends, i dont want hahaha.
i just hope everythg would be done on time, before friday.

right, today was my 18th birthday. so,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NABEELAH BANU!
i shld say i was happy after some years on my birthday.
i really laughed alot, and smiled so much after like 3yrs, i shld say.
and the thing, life is really unfair.
one min, u're happy.
the other, man, u just dun wanna talk abt it.
i mean life is really unpredictable right.
anyways, tml is NS1 presentation
starting to have butterflies in my stomach.
she really asks damn alot of qns.
and if dunno the answers, man, we're so getting screwed up.
i just hope we'll be able to make thru this.
man. if term1 alr is like this, i cant imagine term2
and damn, i gotta start writing on my NR report.
got to hand in next monday. and this whole weekend i'm booked.
so i'm only left with Thursday and Friday.
guess got to burn the midnight oil tml.
if i wanna finish the critique by fri.

hahaha this must be pretty dumb right.
no one bothers to read but yar just blogging for the fun of it
i guess i prefer writing diaries to writing it in computers.
diaries are still presonal but internet, well almost everyone can see unless u make it a private blog.
